Hi. I'm relatively new to riding in Rochester. Work and family preclude me making it to the Monday and Wednesday group rides, unfortunately. I'm able to get out on the weekends Saturdays if I am back by 9am or after 12pm, and pretty much whenever on Sunday, although earlier is always better. I'm a 19-21mph average rider, working on getting faster. I'd like to do the Jesse James century in September, so I'd like to find people who are interested in doing somewhat longer weekend rides, in the 60+ mile range. Pretty much any distance is fine though. If any of this sounds like it matches your schedule, drop me a line at folpe.andrew@mayo.edu.

Well, as lame as it is to reply to your own message:
If anyone is interested, I'm looking to ride from about 6am to 9am tomorrow (Saturday). I'm leaving from the Weatherhill area and am planning on heading out in a SW direction. This should be somewhere around a 50-60 mile ride. Could easily meet someone at Autumn Ridge or Bamber Valley School. 18-21 average pace. folpe.andrew@mayo.edu if you are interested in riding.

Andrew
You have discovered that our little forum home isn't very active sometimes.
I would offer to ride with you but 1) I have plans for Saturday to go hiking with the wife if the weather cooperates and 2) I am a 17-18ish mph guy...so I would hold you back....or get left in the dust.

Sunday, 8am, Dunn South. Group ride, planning 3-5 hours, with bailouts for shorter distances.
