All May rides will now be posted here. Monday 5/03/10 bike ride starts from Bamber Valley School at 6pm. SHARP! Bring your road bike, helmet and lights (just in case). Sunset is at 8:15pm. Forcast: 60F and WNW winds at 16 mph. Note: The 35 mile route is closer to 32 miles. Recommend riding routes counter clockwise Easy Rider's Route: 19 mile Route: Salem Corners, right onto Cty 3, right on to Cty 34, back to Bamber. 24 mile Route: Salem Corners, Cty 5 to Byron, Cty 134 to Cty3, back to Salem Corners and in on Cty 25. Here's more detail on the shorter routes - except we'll be going counter clockwise this week. The distances above are a little over stated.

Wednesday 5/5/10. Ride starts from Bicycle Sports. Leaving at 6pm, Sharp! Forecast is 60F with WNW winds at 23 mph. Sunset 8:18pm. Bring your lights! Just in case! "A" Group will use trail out to Douglas, then roads. Easy Rider's Route :15 miles: Out Douglas Trail to Douglas and back. 22 miles: Out Douglas Trail to Cty 3 bridge. Back on Cty 3 to Douglas. All groups leave south on Cty 8. Group "A" may lengthen route up Cty 3 to Cty 34 for a 47mi route. Easy Rider's Route: 16.5 miles: take CR 8 South, then right (West) on CR 117, the left (South) on CR 104, then right (North) on CR 15, then left (West) on CR 25 (Salem Rd) to Salem Corners. We have at least one Easy Rider that doesn't feel confident enough yet to complete 24 miles. The route can be shortened to about 20 miles by returning to Salem Corners directly (via CR 3) instead of going through Byron and returning on CR 5.
