Hey all,
Just checking in to let you know how things turned out at the E.R. last night. My elbow ended up being dislocated, with a small fracture on the ulna. With much effort, orthopedics was successful in performing a closed reduction (getting the joint set up again). I should hear today what the plan is to deal with the fracture. If anyone is interested in seeing the before image, let me know and I'll scan it and put it online somewhere.
Thanks for the assistance last night, and my apologies again to the rider I bumped into (I'm glad you were not injured). I'll be back riding as soon as they say I'm able.
George

Thanks for the update, George. I don't like to get into "nurse mode" on the rides but am very thankful that we were all able to help you. We are all wishing you a quick recovery and return to group cycling.

George, I hope your elbow heals quickly and you're back out on RASC rides soon. In the meantime, you should confer with Sarah and Dennis about getting your official "crash3" designation.

That's right you are now offically dubbed "Crash III", NOT Crash or Crash I or CRASH II, you are Crash III and hopefully the last crash for this year.
