3 of us(M.Krupski, B.Rodgers, D.Maurer) are leaving from the Douglas Trail-head at 12:15 and heading North for a ride of around 16-17 mph and hoping to get in 40 miles or so, anyone is welcome, sorry about the late notice we're going to try beating the rain showers.

Was a good ride to Pine Island and Roscoe. Francis Gurtz met us and rode part way. Pace was gentle at a 16 average, saw a strutting Tom out of PI and many Bluebirds along the Douglas Trail. Total miles was between 46&48 depending on where you started and only a few sprinkles between 50th Ave and 55th St.

Thanks for the great ride guys. On the way heading back to the History Center (to meet friends for a ride out on Salem Road), broke a rear derailleur cable - found out that top gear is not so great for the 3 bridges on Douglas Trail! Whew! - Francis
