I have fond memories as a kid (probably 12-14 year old) doing Killer Hill and Le Coulee Classic in LaCrosse. I think there was one called Sugarloaf Classic in Winona as well.
Isn't there some sort of Jesse James ride in Northfield?

jno, you're talking about: jessejamesbiketour.org/There is also the Minds in Motion tour out of Onalaska, WI: www.mimbiketour.org/indexnoflash.htmlLast September I rode in the Tour De Dodge metric century out of Mantorville, but a quick web search yielded no information about a 2010 edition of that ride.

There will be another Tour de Dodge. Have talked to organizer. Info should be up soon.
I believe the Killer Hill and Sugarloaf Classic have gone away as our Rochester Centurion. Anyone interested in helping to revive the original route?

Dave, If you have it, can you send me a complete list of century rides and I'll post them on the main bike page. Thanks Michael

Here is one I found out about this weekend: www.shootingstartrail.org/The Shooting Star Trail runs from LeRoy to Adams and goes through Lake Louise State Park through some very nice prarie area. The July ride is slated to have rides of several lengths, including a Century. This terrain is very flat, so if someone wanted to ride their first century, this might be the ride. Also a good warm up for TRAM. Peace, Dennis

Here's some info on the Tour de Dodge (mentioned earlier in this thread) that I discovered on the web:
9/11/10 2nd Annual Tour de Dodge Bike Ride 6.5mile Family Ride, 15 mile, 62 mile/100k Ride Mantorville Intermediate School Mantorville, MN 55955 Contact: Chris O'Brien 507-269-4461
Still in conflict with the Jesse James ride in Northfield. Too bad both the Mantorville and Northfield town festivals fall on the same day.
