Hi, Hoping people will be up for another challenging gravel ride. Dave, a friend, and I have been planning a 46 mile loop out of Lansboro with a 10 AM Start on scenic gravel roads. The first 5 miles will start on the Root River Trail toward Whalen to warm up before we hit gravel. There will be a rest stop in Petersen at the 24 mile mark. There are 4 climbs and beautiful valleys to ride up and down. Here is the route on Garmin that can be down loaded. I'm working on a .gxp file. Hoping for a good turnout so we can break into groups. Weather looks to be holding. Temps will be in the 60's with winds less the 10 mph from the SE. From the replies I've received there should be two groups. Sylvan Park is the start location in Lanesboro at 10 AM. Dave Bigelow, my sidecar friend (D&B), has volunteered to man the Rest Stop in Peterson. Please bring a small ride snack to share. This will be potluck style, I'm bringing Fig Bars. The route map will not navigate you to the Rest Stop. You will need to turn right onto the Root River trail in Petereson. Bathroom are a couple blocks down. I don't have a gpx file yet. Still will try to post. I did easily download to my Edge 500 thru the link on the map. But needed to sign into Garmin Connect. See You, Sunday. Bob
