During times when temps are fluctuating between freezing and thawing Gamehaven tends to stay very wet. This is a bad time to ride out there since the damage done takes longer to dry out during the spring and the ruts will be frozen all winter. Basically if it's below freezing you should be fine. If its above freezing please be kind to the trail and stop riding if you are leaving noticable marks. A great alternative is Eastwood. It tends to stay dryer, I think due to it's sandy soil and more established trail base. Today Eastwood was great while Gamehaven was a mess. So please consider Eastwood as an alternative when it might not be great at Gamehaven. Thanks.
