Join us Saturday December 16th at 5pm for the second annual fat bike ride to view holiday light displays. The ride will be in the Elton Hills area. The route is 6 miles of some of the best residential holiday light displays. I estimate about a one hour ride. An additional three-mile route around Silver Lake can be added.
We’ll stop at several of the displays for photos. If it's cold I recommend keeping your camera/phone batteries warm as they lose power fast in cold temps.
We’ll be riding on bike trail and residential streets. There may not be snow so just about any bike could work. Last year many people decorated their bikes so I would encourage all to do that again this year.
Start at the new senior center (125 Live-adjoining the Rec Center) west parking lot on Elton Hills Dr. NW. Remember you'll need front and rear lights.
Hope to see you there! Bill Rogers
